    I had my gall bladder removed 4 days ago I have a list of things I can eat and drink I made a mistake and had a solid dinner last night of turkey burger and veges I paid for i thought I was going to have to go back to the hospital it was severe gas so I guess I just stick to liquids and mush for the next 2 weeks till my follow up appointment, I guess a dietitian is what I need.

    I had my gallbladder removed in 2006 and as now that I am 65 it gives me more problems. I remember my surgeon stating that there should be no problems at all after removal. Obviously he didn’t know what he was talking about. I have problems now digesting lettuce and of course anything with too much fat. I cheat sometimes and pay the price but overall don’t believe anyone telling you that it doesn’t affect you. I am going to take some bile salts and am now reading a great book called “Grain Brain” that addresses a lot of issues about fat. Food manufacturers and pharmaceutical company are feeding us a bunch of lies about cholesterol and fats. Carbs are not the answer and in fact it is just the opposite.
